Therapy for lasting change
Compassionate therapy that heals from the inside, out.
Life doesn’t look or feel the way you wish it did.
You strive to overcome your pain, yet it seems the more effort you put in, the more intense it becomes.

Grief is a natural response to losing someone or something that’s important to you. You may feel a variety of emotions, including anger, sadness, or loneliness. You can experience grief for different reasons. Maybe a loved one died, a relationship ended, or you lost your job. Other life changes such as a chronic illness or moving to a new home can also lead to grief. Everyone grieves differently. But if you understand your emotions, take care of yourself, and seek support, you can heal.

Unresolved trauma refers to traumas individuals have suppressed, avoided, or not adequately processed. These experiences often occur in childhood but continue to affect interpersonal relationships, thoughts, feelings, or behaviors into adulthood. Unresolved trauma can impact various aspects of life, including overall functioning, relationships, and work performance. Those with unresolved trauma are often hypersensitive to perceived threats, sometimes leading to interpersonal disputes and trust issues with intimate partners, friends, or family members.

We often feel stuck when we we’ve tried everything we can think of to change our situation, but it still doesn’t seem to make much difference. You might notice yourself thinking the same negative thoughts over and over again, until you start to feel powerless, helpless or hopeless. Remember, how you are feeling right now is valid, but you won’t always feel this way. Things can get better, you are not alone, I can help.
I’m Jennifer.
Long lasting change is possible.
The intensity of your emotions feels overwhelming, as if they're too much for the situation at hand. It's as though they're on the verge of consuming you. Unsure of how to handle these powerful feelings, you push them aside, wishing they would just disappear.

The experience replays in your mind repeatedly, and thoughts of what occurred persist. A sense of safety has diminished, and concentration is difficult. Specific situations trigger panic and a sense of helplessness. Despite feeling that enough time has passed to move on, progress seems elusive.
-
Are you feeling an overwhelming sense of sadness, finding little joy in daily activities, spending extensive amounts of time in solitude, and pondering the meaning and significance of life?
-
You feel uneasy, scared, and worried every day, making it hard to work and connect with others. Easy things seem hard, and you feel tired from being tense all the time.

EMDR (Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy treatment that enables individuals to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress from traumatic or difficult life experiences. Numerous controlled studies have shown EMDR to be an effective form of therapy with an increased rate in the reduction of symptoms than traditional talk therapy alone. It is recognized by the American Psychiatric Association, the American Psychological Association, the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs as an efficacious treatment for PTSD.
